Chinese President Xi Jinping arrived in France on Sunday for his third state visit, marking a significant moment in Sino-French relations. Invited by President Emmanuel Macron, Xi’s visit underscores the deepening ties between China and France amid shifting global dynamics.
“In the 60 years since, our bilateral relations have always stayed abreast of China’s relations with Western countries, setting a prime example for countries with different social systems to coexist in peace and pursue win-win cooperation,” President Xi stated upon his arrival at Paris Orly airport.

In a signed article published in French media Le Figaro, President Xi reaffirmed China’s commitment to further opening up to the world. China welcomes quality French agricultural products, cosmetics, and investment from France and other countries into its market. Amid geopolitical tensions and economic challenges, enhanced China-Europe cooperation offers a viable pathway for mutual prosperity, demonstrating that countries with different social systems can successfully collaborate.
