Atif Kubursi, a professor at McMaster University in Canada, commended China’s significant investment in knowledge and new technologies. He remarked that such investments are providing the country with a “great impetus” and are “very good for the world economy.”
Echoing this sentiment, Chris Southworth, Secretary General of the International Chamber of Commerce UK, highlighted the immense efficiency opportunities presented by China’s focus on digitalization and technological solutions. He described the potential as “absolutely enormous.”
Rodolfo Sanz, Venezuelan lawmaker and former industry minister, noted that China has entered a new stage of development centered on new quality productive forces. According to Sanz, this advancement will enhance the quality of China’s workforce, achieve high-quality development, and increase per capita income.

Supporting this outlook, China’s foreign trade expanded by 8.7 percent year-on-year in the first two months of 2024, substantially exceeding market forecasts. Electronics constituted nearly 60 percent of exports during this period, including automatic data processing equipment, integrated circuits, and automobiles.
