Ukrainian Vlogger Explores Beijing’s International Cuisine, Showcasing China’s Cultural Inclusivity

As China’s annual Two Sessions continue, the China Global Television Network (CGTN) has launched an “Ask China Expats” campaign, inviting questions about China from people around the world. Anastasiia Reznik, a Ukrainian vlogger who has called China home for six years, took part in this initiative to shed light on China’s cultural diversity.

Responding to a question from a Spanish individual curious about the availability of foreign restaurants in China, Reznik embarked on a culinary journey through Beijing. She sampled Turkish cuisine and visited a variety of international eateries, showcasing the rich tapestry of global flavors found in the city.

“China’s openness to different cultures is evident in its diverse food scene,” Reznik observed. “You can find cuisine from all over the world here. It’s a testament to the country’s inclusive development and its welcoming attitude towards other cultures.”

Reznik’s exploration not only satisfied her culinary curiosity but also highlighted how China’s open and inclusive development path fosters a multicultural environment. Through her experiences, she demonstrated that China’s major cities embrace international influences, creating a vibrant and diverse community for both locals and expatriates.

Her journey underscores the importance of cultural exchange and mutual understanding in today’s interconnected world. By sharing her story, Reznik offers a glimpse into how China is building bridges between nations through everyday experiences like food.
