A magnitude-5.3 earthquake struck off the coast of Yahukimo, Indonesia, on Friday, according to the country’s Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG). The quake occurred at a depth of 10 kilometers.
BMKG reported that there is no tsunami warning associated with this event. Residents are advised to remain vigilant for any potential aftershocks.
