It was during such an expedition that we first learned about the Nagchu Horse Racing Festival, a vibrant spectacle believed to be the largest of its kind on the entire Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. Every summer, thousands cross mountains and rivers to partake in this grand event, celebrating the enduring spirit and traditions of the Tibetan people.
