Shanghai Disney Resort has officially opened the doors to its highly anticipated Zootopia-themed area, marking a world first for Disney parks.
The new section, inspired by the acclaimed animated film “Zootopia“, invites visitors to immerse themselves in the vibrant metropolis inhabited by anthropomorphic animals. Guests can now step into the roles of rookie police officers on the groundbreaking trackless dark ride Zootopia: Hot Pursuit, where they’ll join beloved characters like Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde on thrilling adventures.
The grand opening ceremony, held on Tuesday, featured appearances by the film’s charming characters, bringing excitement to fans of all ages. Robert Iger, Chief Executive Officer of The Walt Disney Company, attended the event, underscoring the global significance of this new addition to the resort.
