China will hold its third and final press briefing on Sunday to mark the 80th anniversary of its victory in the Chinese People’s War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War. This follows Friday’s release of the fourth batch of 34 national-level memorial facilities and 43 honored heroes from the war. Since 2014, China has systematically recognized such sites and individuals to reinforce historical memory and promote patriotism.
