The 2025 China Pet Industry White Paper shows a 2.1% annual increase in urban pet populations, while Beijing Shijitan Hospital's research reveals 12.5% of surveyed patients now suffer from cat dander allergies – a significant jump from previous years. Dr. Wang Xueyan, director of the hospital's Allergy Center, warns that untreated allergies can escalate into serious respiratory conditions.
